Manager, Major Gifts – Southern California Public Radio
Southern California Public Radio (SCPR) is a member-supported public media network that operates across the region, reaching from Santa Barbara down to Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and out to the Coachella Valley. We also inform and interact with our communities through our web site, mobile and social media channels and live events.
The Manager of Major Gifts is responsible for building a robust major gifts program ($10,000 - $250,000+) at SCPR. This position will manage the major gift officers and work with them to create and implement successful strategies and plans to qualify prospects and build relationships with donors that result in increased engagement and contributed support for SCPR.
Director of Development, Major Gifts - Chaminade College Preparatory
Under the direction of the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Director of Development, Major Giving is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of strategies to increase major and leadership giving support ($1,000 and more) to Chaminade. This position oversees two staff positions – database manager and advancement events manager – and provides administrative and database management oversight to the department in the areas of constituency management, gift reporting, prospect management donor recognition and tracking. The Director also manages the stewardship program for major donors, planned giving program and foundation outreach.
Chief Development Officer - CommUnify
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Development Officer (CDO) is responsible for developing, administering, and implementing the Agency’s short and long-term development plan and marketing/communications plan. In addition, the CDO is also responsible for leading the effort to create an agencywide business culture that supports fundraising activities. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a growth strategy for the future, i.e., cultivation of a variety of donors, including major donors and online donors, corporate donations, planned giving, etc., organizing outreach efforts and planning special events, and managing relationships with the organization’s Board of Directors, as well as new and existing donors.
