Margaret G. FitzGerald, MPA, Associate, Special Services

Maggie FitzGerald is an associate at Netzel Grigsby Associates who works with nonprofits to amplify their mission by creating impactful appeals for organizational support that are rooted in meticulous research.

Maggie is committed to building equitable communities by helping nonprofits create measurable results through research-driven best practices and mission-centered storytelling. She has served a wide array of NGA clients including Episcopal Community Services, De La Salle High School, and Creativity Explored.

Maggie specializes in case development, campaign and strategic planning, foundation relations and grant writing, prospect research, and communications.

Prior to joining NGA, Maggie supported the executive and development teams at New Friends New Life, a Dallas-based nonprofit serving survivors of human trafficking. She also served as an AmeriCorps Volunteer Infrastructure Fellow at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa where she aided in restructuring the volunteer program and organized client-facing disaster response during the 2019 Kincade Fire and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maggie holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
