Monica Lee Copeland, MFA, CFRE, is a seasoned implementation consultant who partners with nonprofit and for-profit organizations to advance their mission through strategic fundraising, marketing, and organizational engagement.

She has 30+ years of team-centered business management, tech savvy marketing, and donor-focused development experience. During her career, she has secured over $250 million in philanthropic fundraising. Copeland is a consummate relationship builder and uses her network and expertise to champion good causes, innovate solutions that improve the human condition, and mentor young professionals committed to leadership and change.

Monica Lee facilitates the development of strategic fundraising and marketing campaigns, implements fundraising and communications campaigns, supports board recruitment and development efforts, and serves as an interim Chief Development or Marketing Officer. Previously, she served as the  Chief Development Officer for the Planned Parenthood Pasadena & San Gabriel Valley and the Cerritos College Foundation; Chief Marketing Officer for Stone Ally; and, the Chief Executive Officer of MLC & Company where she led fundraising initiatives for KidSave International, the Pasadena Pops Orchestra, and Agape International among others. Monica Lee is most proud of leading an $18 MM IBM Kenexa restructuring engagement for Boys Town’s National Resource & Training Center.

She is a Certified Fundraising Executive and holds a MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, Montpellier, Vermont and BA from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. She completed a Kellogg Business School Bank Training Program, business management courses at Edinburgh MBA, United Kingdom, and recently earned an Artificial Intelligence in Health Care certificate from Stanford University.
