Constance "Connie" S. Maguire, MA MGMT, CFRE, Senior Vice President
Connie Maguire is a senior vice president with Netzel Grigsby Associates, where she guides nonprofits to achieve their aspirations through strategic and development planning, fundraising capacity building, and leadership coaching. With decades of experience and a keen attention to detail, Connie understands how to guide an organization from where it is toward the vision it aspires to attain.
Connie has led successful major gift, capital, and comprehensive campaigns ranging from $3 million to $100 million. Her recent clients include Collins & Katz Family YMCA’s $25 million capital campaign, Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles’ $33 million capital and endowment campaign and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s $100 million comprehensive campaign. Connie also specializes in facilitating board development, strategic planning, fund development, and executive coaching programs. Recent planning clients include Chaminade College Preparatory, Crespi Carmelite High School and Culver-Palms Family YMCA.
Connie is committed to advancing educational opportunities for the next generation of nonprofit leaders. She was a core trainer in UCLA Extension’s former Fundraising Certificate Program, an AFP, AHP, NAYDO and SCAHD conference and professional development speaker on capital campaign strategy and performance management, and an author of articles published by National AFP Magazine, Association of Healthcare Professionals (AHP) journal, and National Association of YMCA Development Officers (NAYDO) publication.
An active Rotarian for over two decades, Connie served as president of the Rotary Club of Santa Monica in 2016-17 and actively supports the Club’s local, district and international humanitarian service work. Connie will serve as an Assistant District Governor of District 5280 for the 2021-22 Rotary year. She also is a current board member and 20+ year member of AFP-GLAC.
Prior to joining NGA in 2000, Connie enjoyed an 18-year career with the YMCA in executive management and development. Connie holds a BA in physical education from California State University at Long Beach and a Masters in business management from Azusa Pacific University.
