Sharon L. Gish
Senior Counsel

As senior counsel, Sharon consults with education, arts, youth, and social service organizations. Her work is focused on board and volunteer development, feasibility studies, development audits, annual campaigns, major gifts programs, and capital campaigns. Sharon's breadth of knowledge, critical thinking, and history of success make her a valuable member of NETZEL GRIGSBY ASSOCIATES'.

Sharon has more than 40 years of professional experience. She began her career as Director of Women's Athletics and Coach at Lafayette College. For 24 years, Sharon served as a YMCA professional, with the last 12 years as President/CEO. Most recently, she has provided executive coaching and consulting services to nonprofits across the country.

Sharon holds a B.S. degree from Ursinus College and an M.Ed. from Lehigh University. She served as a member of the North American YMCA Development Organization Council for six years and was a winner of the Eagle Award, the highest honor given by the YMCA in the area of fundraising. She is a coach for the YMCA of the USA's New CEO Coaching Program.

Sharon is an active volunteer for several local charities. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Salinas Valley Half Marathon and is Past President of the Rotary Club of Salinas - Downtown. She is a volunteer executive coach with the Community Foundation for Monterey County and also serves on their Community Impact Grants Review Committee.
